Description
1950 Oldsmobile 88 Deluxe club coupe with 1955 324 V-8 and 1955 dual range Hydramatic transmission. It has a 4 barrel carburetor and twin pipes. A set of 1955 Olds Fiesta spinner hubcaps with Coker Classic wide white wall tires add to it's iconic 50's appearance. Color is an original Crest blue and interior re-upholstered in original type fabric and patterns.. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts and an alternator has been added to supply additional power for the after market air conditioner and electrical radiator fan. The original AM radio has been repaired and works well as does the original clock. Also, an AM/FM CD radio is installed in the glove box. It has an auxiliary electric fuel pump, electric wipers and also has a set of matching rear fender skirts.
This Olds always gets thumbs up when driving and great comments when parked. It has won awards at local car shows and once won 'best in show'. Recently won "Best in Class" at local indoor Rod and Customs Show.
