Description
This customized 1950 Studebaker Champion was first built in the 1990s and was redone in 2020. Dubbed “Studzilla”, the build is powered by a Chevrolet 468ci V8 paired with a GM 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and incorporates a custom boxed frame, a narrowed Ford 9″ mini-spool rear end, Heidts Mustang II front suspension with ShockWave air suspension, Total Performance parallel leaf rear suspension with air shocks, and custom body modifications. Finished in Kandy Purple House of Kolor paintwork with a custom flame job, the car also features a 4″ chopped roof, custom one-piece windshield, shaved door handles with electric poppers, custom taillights, tubbed rear wheel wells, Billet Specialties and Weld Racing Pro-Star wheels, and air conditioning. The seller purchased the car in 2022. This 9G-S2 is now offered with a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Kandy Purple House of Kolor paintwork with a custom flame job and features a black fabric top, a “bullet-nose” front end, a 4″ chopped roof, a custom one-piece windshield, shaved door handles with electric poppers, custom taillights, dual side mirrors, fender vents, stainless-steel rocker-panel and windshield trim, and chrome grille, headlight rings, taillight bezels, and bumpers.
