Description
This 1951 Alvis TA21 is a right-hand-drive saloon that was first registered in Nottinghamshire, England. In 1979, the car was brought to the US, where it remained with the same family in Virginia until the seller’s purchase in 2024. Power comes from a 3.0-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a sliding sunroof, Lucas driving lights, rear fender spats, 15” steel wheels, tan leather upholstery, wood trim, and Smiths gauges. Work performed under current ownership has involved repairing a fuel leak, overhauling the emergency brake, and replacing the battery. This TA21 is now offered with a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in black and gray and features a sliding sunroof, Lucas driving lights, rear-hinged front doors, fender-mounted side mirrors, rear fender spats, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Pitted brightwork and chipped paint around the car can be viewed in the image gallery below.
