This 1951 Ford Victoria 2-Door Hardtop is powered by the original 239ci Ford Flathead V-8 engine equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, mild camshaft, electronic ignition and aluminum cylinder heads, paired with a Ford C4 automatic transmission and a Lincoln rear end with 2.90 gears. The engine and transmission were rebuilt approximately 4,000 miles ago. Additional mechanical equipment includes a 12-volt electrical system and aluminum radiator. Headers handle the exhaust. A Mustang II front end and power steering are fitted. Power brakes provide stopping capability. The body received a body-off restoration and features most of the chrome and stainless-steel trim removed, frenched-in headlights and taillights and electric door poppers. The interior features power windows, a tilt steering wheel, custom dashboard, four-speaker stereo system with tape deck and Vintage Air climate-control system. The trunk is fully carpeted. Approximately $220,000 was invested in the build. It took first place in its class at the Sacramento Autorama. Approximately 4,000 miles since the engine and transmission rebuilds.
