Description
This 1951 Plymouth Concord coupe was modified into a street rod in the 1990s and was purchased by the seller’s spouse in 2010. The big-block Chevy V8 has an Engle camshaft and is linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a narrowed 9″ rear end, and the car is further equipped with a Camaro-spec front clip, front disc brakes, power steering, traction bars, Center Line wheels, and rear Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. The body is finished in blue with white stripes, and the cabin is outfitted with color-keyed bucket seats, power windows, a cassette deck, VDO auxiliary gauges, and air conditioning. This Concord street rod is now offered by the seller on behalf of their spouse with a clean California title in the owner’s name. The body has been repainted in blue with white over-the-top stripes, and exterior elements include a chrome grille, a split windshield, twin chrome mirrors, quarter vent windows, and centrally mounted quad exhaust finishers. Close-up photos of the paint and trim are provided in the gallery.
