Description
Solid, Unmolested, Original 1952 Ford F1 Barn Find – Running Flathead V8 & Pacific Northwest Heritage.
This solid, unmolested survivor retains fantastic character and historical charm. The truck was last registered in 1984 (verified by license plate tabs), and bumper decals show 1971 Fort Lewis history, confirming a lifetime spent in the dry, mild PNW climate where rust stays remarkably minimal.
This truck is in very original condition. The flathead V8 started right up after the truck was pulled out of long term storage. Video of available. The clutch pedal exerts the proper, solid resistance and springs back into place with minimal foot pressure. The truck rolls easily without any mechanical drag or unusual sounds. The frame is solid and bed crossmembers appear solid and usable.
It is inspiring to put your hands on the soild steel exterior of the truck is and see, and feel, that it is practically rust free. Close inspection shows a small spots at the bottom of the front frenders. Cab corners are solid. Moisture was trapped under the original rubber cab mat and in the door bottoms. New floor panels should be installed.
