1953 Austin-Healey 100-4

DescriptionMilford Auto Mall Sales & Service is proud to present this stunning 1953 Austin-Healey 100-4 Roadster, finished in the iconic British Racing Green over a beautifully complemented tan interior — one of the most desirable and timeless color combinations ever offered on a classic British sports car. The Austin-Healey 100-4 represents the beginning of the legendary Healey lineup and remains one of the most recognizable and celebrated vintage roadsters ever produced. With its long hood, low-slung stance, and elegant body lines, this model perfectly captures the essence of 1950s motoring. This particular example presents in excellent condition and has clearly been well cared for. The exterior finish shows beautifully, and the car is accented by chrome wire wheels and classic knock-off hubs, giving it the authentic vintage look collectors seek. The tan interior is equally impressive, offering a clean, period-correct appearance that enhances the overall driving experience. Adding to the uniqueness of this vehicle, it comes with a fascinating piece of its history — an original road trip map from California that traveled with the car. This rare detail provides a tangible connection to the car’s past and adds an extra layer of story and authenticity that collectors truly appreciate. Mechanically, the car is powered by the legendary 2.6L inline-four engine paired to a manual transmission. It runs and drives exactly as a proper Austin-Healey should — smooth, responsive, and engaging, delivering the pure, analog driving experience that modern cars simply cannot replicate. Additional features include a tonneau cover and a convertible top in excellent condition, making this car equally enjoyable for open-air cruising or covered touring. Early Austin-Healey 100-4 models have become increasingly desirable among collectors, with values steadily rising as clean, well-presented examples become harder to find. Whether you are looking for a weekend cruiser, a show-quality classic, or an investment-grade vintage automobile, this Healey represents an outstanding opportunity.
