1953 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup

This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 Deluxe five-window pickup is powered by an upgraded, rebuilt 1956 235ci Stovebolt inline-six engine with hydraulic lifters and a Rochester one-barrel carburetor, backed by a 1957 long-shaft three-speed manual transmission and rebuilt 1957 rear differential with 3.90 gears. The split exhaust manifold feeds a pair of 24-inch dual glass-pack mufflers. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts and features a new one-wire alternator. The pickup received a comprehensive frame-off restoration during its 30-year ownership. The exterior is finished in factory-correct Commercial Red and features front and rear chrome bumpers, chrome hubcaps with painted Chevrolet logos and a new wood bed with painted metal tie-down strips. The interior features new custom carpeting, a reupholstered stock 1953 bench seat, new gauges with chrome rings and chrome dash accents. Factory equipment includes a radio and heater. The pickup was featured in American Truck magazine.
