1953 Chevrolet 5-Window Pickup

Vehicle Description 1953 Chevrolet 5-Window Pickup $118,500 Some custom trucks are built. Others become legends. This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 Five-Window Pickup is exactly that-a rolling piece of hot rod history and believed to be the last complete build by legendary House of Kolor Painter of the Year, Wet Willey. Every inch of this truck reflects the craftsmanship and creativity that made Willey one of the most respected names in the custom car world. The body is drenched in breathtaking House of Kolor Cobalt Blue Pearl, a color with incredible depth that explodes in the sunlight and stops people in their tracks. The paint was personally sprayed by Wet Willey, whose work has earned countless awards and inspired builders around the world. The body has been tastefully refined with a smoothed hood, capped bed rails, and a classic Fulton sun visor that perfectly blends old-school styling with custom sophistication. Rolling underneath is a set of one-of-a-kind custom wheels that complete the unmistakable stance of this award-worthy pickup. Power comes from a dependable GM 350 Crate Engine, delivering the reliability of modern Chevrolet performance while preserving the unmistakable rumble of a traditional small block. Backing the V8 is a smooth-shifting 4L60 automatic transmission that makes this truck just as enjoyable on the highway as it is cruising through town. Power is sent to the pavement through a rugged 10-bolt rear differential, giving this custom classic the drivability to match its incredible looks. Underneath, this Chevy has been upgraded with a RideTech Air Ride suspension system that dramatically improves ride quality and handling, while power four-wheel disc brakes provide modern stopping confidence every time you hit the pedal. Inside, the craftsmanship continues with an incredible custom interior that centers around a beautifully integrated 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air dashboard. A pair of luxurious 1965 Buick Riviera bucket seats and matching center console transform the cab into something truly unique while maintaining a period-correct custom feel. A tilt steering wheelprovides added comfort behind the wheel, while Vintage Air heat and air conditioning ensure this pickup can be comfortably enjoyed regardless of the season. Finding a beautifully built '53 Five-Window is difficult. Finding one that represents the final completed creation of a legendary custom painter is nearly impossible. This isn't simply a restored pickup-it's a handcrafted piece of hot rod history that deserves to be preserved, admired, and driven.
