1953 MG TD Base

This 1953 MGTD is an attractive British classic that can be brought back to enjoyable driver condition with some mechanical attention. Finished in light yellow with a black interior, it has a pleasing appearance and a history of long-term family ownership.

The car remained in the same family for over 25 years, with the previous owner keeping it for more than 10 years. During that ownership, the car was restored and repainted. Today, the paint presents very well, with almost no visible blemishes. The chrome and glass are in good condition, and the interior is nice, with firm seats and attractive door panels.

The MGTD had been sitting for approximately three years before recently being brought back to life. The engine starts easily and runs very smoothly, and the car runs and drives. The transmission is slightly sticky, and the brakes will need to be gone through before the car is ready for regular road use.
