Description
A beautiful fully restored 1953 Willys-Overland CJ3A from the personal collection of a NAVY veteran in upstate New York. The CJ3A was Willys's refined postwar civilian Jeep, produced through the early 1950s with an improved transmission, one piece windshield, and other upgrades over the earlier CJ2A. It remains one of the most collectible early Jeep models. This example has had a complete frame off restoration, finished in grey to the highest possible standard by an expert with over 30 years experience specializing in Willy's Jeeps. Everything mechanical and electrical was taken apart and refinished, refabricated or replaced. The engine and transmission both were sent out and completely rebuilt top to bottom and are in perfect working order with less than 500 miles on them. The four wheel drive has also been rebuilt and works perfectly.
The vehicle comes with all of the proper paperwork and documentation as well as meticulously kept records and receipts from the entire restoration process.
