Description
This 1954 Buick Skylark is one of 836 convertible examples produced and is finished in white over red leather. The car is powered by a 322ci Fireball V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a power-operated white soft top, 15″ wire wheels, power steering, power-assisted brakes, a top boot, a power-operated antenna, dual side mirrors, Dagmar-style front bumper guards, a push-button AM radio, power windows, and a low-back front bench seat. The car was refurbished prior to the current owner’s acquisition in 1995, after which it was relocated to the Los Angeles area and driven to local events until being stored in 2004. Per the seller, a 2023-2026 recommissioning included a new convertible top, new tires, and rebuilds of the cooling, braking, wiring, and ignition systems, as well as the carburetor. This Skylark is now offered by the seller on the current owner’s behalf with a clean California title. For 1954, the Skylark shared its chassis with the Century rather than the Roadmaster, resulting in a shorter wheelbase than the 1953 model. This example is finished in white, and exterior details include a power-operated white soft top, a red top boot, a panoramic windshield, a power-operated antenna, dual side mirrors, Dagmar-style front bumper guards, rear tailfins, and “sweepspear” side trim. The car was refurbished by the previous owner, with work under current ownership comprising a new convertible top and a cut and polish of the paint in 2026.
