Description
This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop is a custom build completed between 2011 and 2015 and is comprised of a black and “Bamboo Pearl” body mounted to a Paul Newman chassis. It is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 linked with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a C4-specification limited-slip differential, and the suspension has been modified with adjustable air shocks and polished A-arms. Additional details include power rack-and-pinion steering, C4-sourced power disc brakes, staggered-diameter Billet Specialties wheels, remote door poppers, billet hood hinges, a custom exhaust system, and a smoothed dashboard and firewall. The cabin is outfitted with tan leather upholstery, Dakota Digital gauges, aftermarket air conditioning, and a Bluetooth stereo. Acquired by the owner’s spouse in 2010, this modified Bel Air is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Colorado title. The hardtop body was stripped and received lead-based bodywork repairs, according to the selling dealer, before it was refinished in Jet Black and Bamboo Pearl. Exterior details include aftermarket headlights, a chrome one-piece front bumper, Bel Air side spear trim, sport mirror housings, and remote electronic door actuators as well as a power-operated trunk lid, a hidden fuel filler concealed behind the pivoting left taillight assembly, deleted windshield wipers, and dual exhaust finishers below the rear bumper.
