Description
This custom 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is powered by a GM LS9 crate V-8 engine mated to a GM 6L90E six-speed automatic transmission with electronic shifting and a 9-inch rear end. Cooling is provided by a Ron Davis aluminum radiator, while an aluminum fuel tank from Rick’s Tanks and new fuel lines are installed. A 3-inch exhaust system with Borla mufflers handles the exhaust. The Roadster Shop REVO III chassis features coilovers, and Wilwood 14-inch disc brakes with new brake lines provide stopping power. The original 1955 hardtop body received more than 800 hours of bodywork and is fitted with all-new trim, bumpers and glass. It rides on 19-inch Asanti chrome wheels wrapped in Nitto 555 tires. The interior is finished in European leather and carpet with Recaro seats, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate control, cruise control, power windows and power locks. A sound system features a Kendall head unit and Rockford Fosgate components. Additional equipment includes a backup camera, electronic fuel-filler door, all-new wiring, lighting and harnesses, as well as a built-in battery tender with an external connection and a battery shut-off.
