Finished in sleek silver over a custom gray interior, this 210 has the mechanical upgrades and visual presence to be equally at home on the highway, at a local cruise night, or displayed at a weekend car show. Power comes from a healthy 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 equipped with a gear-drive timing set, delivering strong throttle response and the distinctive mechanical sound enthusiasts appreciate. The engine is backed by a dependable TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and sends its power to a rugged Ford 9-inch rear end, creating a proven drivetrain combination built for confident street use. The rear suspension has been configured to support the car's aggressive stance and wider wheel package. Narrowed rear leaf springs provide the necessary clearance, while CalTracs traction bars help control axle movement and improve traction under acceleration. Power steering makes the car comfortable to maneuver, and front disc brakes provide improved stopping performance while rear drum brakes retain a straightforward and reliable configuration. Engine temperatures are managed by a Griffin aluminum radiator paired with dual SPAL electric cooling fans. The Vintage Air system has also recently been serviced and blows cold, making this 1955 Chevrolet far more enjoyable during warm-weather cruising and longer drives. Polished Billet Specialties wheels give the car a modern muscle-car appearance while complementing its classic body lines. The staggered setup includes 225/45ZR18 front tires and wide 20x10 rear wheels, filling the wheel openings and giving the car a planted, purposeful stance without overwhelming its iconic Tri-Five design. Inside, the custom gray patterned interior presents a clean and coordinated appearance. The bench seating is complemented by matching door panels, carpeting, and trim, retaining the spacious character of the original cabin while adding a refined custom finish. A floor-mounted Lokar shifter provides a clean, precise interface for the TH350 automatic transmission. Auxiliary Equus gauges monitor oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage, allowing the driver to keep an eye on the engine's vital systems. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo provides updated audio while remaining neatly positioned beneath the dashboard. The silver exterior is complemented by bright chrome bumpers, polished stainless trim, and the carefully selected wheel-and-tire package. The body is reported by the previous owner to retain its original sheet metal, an appealing detail for enthusiasts who value a solid foundation and preserved Tri-Five construction. The trunk is neatly finished in gray carpeting, continuing the custom presentation beyond the passenger compartment. Underneath, the car features a clean, blacked-out chassis and undercarriage that showcase the suspension, drivetrain, and solid body structure. The odometer currently displays 74,512 miles, which should be considered mileage shown rather than verified actual mileage due to the vehicle's age and modifications. This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Custom delivers the right combination of classic styling, strong 383 stroker performance, cold air conditioning, upgraded cooling, and comfortable street manners. With its TH350 automatic, Ford 9-inch rear end, CalTracs-equipped suspension, polished Billet Specialties wheels, and well-finished interior, this Tri-Five is ready to be driven, shown, and enjoyed.
