1955 Chevrolet Nomad Custom Wagon

This 1955 Chevrolet Nomad custom wagon is powered by a rebuilt, fuel-injected LQ9/LS3 V8 engine featuring remote-mounted ignition coils, paired with a 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters mounted on a custom LeCarra steering wheel. Power is transferred to a Ford 8.8-inch Positraction rear differential. This all-steel Nomad underwent a comprehensive five-year frame-off restoration incorporating custom pro-touring upgrades throughout. The chassis features four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a chrome tilt steering column and a line-lock system. Additional mechanical equipment includes an aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans. It rides on custom 18-inch Alloy Creations wheels wrapped in new performance tires. The exterior is finished in custom Gypsy Red with an India Ivory Pearl roof, complemented by restored exterior chrome and trim. The fully customized interior features Ciadella upholstery, new carpeting, restored chrome headliner bows and trim, and a custom LeCarra steering wheel.
