1955 Ford Thunderbird Custom Convertible

This custom 1955 Ford Thunderbird is powered by a 435hp Coyote 5.0-liter V-8 engine mated to an upgraded 6R80 automatic transmission and a Currie 9-inch Positraction rear end. Rob’s Chassis Works modified the frame in-house with adjustable coilovers at all four corners, a front sway bar and a four-link rear suspension. It is equipped with Flaming River power rack-and-pinion steering and a Wilwood hydro-boost brake system with four-wheel disc brakes. The body underwent a complete rotisserie restoration with opened rear wheel wells, relocated turn signals and twin canopy covers. The cabin was lengthened by 4 inches overall. The Thunderbird is finished in BASF Corsair Blue basecoat/clearcoat inspired by the World War II Corsair aircraft and rides on custom Schott wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. The full custom Anthem leather interior features heated Corbeau seats with four-point harnesses, Vintage Air climate control, Classic Instruments gauges, power windows and a cellphone charging pad. A Rockford Fosgate 1,200-watt stereo and factory hardtop are also included. The build was completed in August 2026.
