Description
This 1956 Bentley S1 is a right-hand-drive four-door saloon that was purchased by the late owner’s husband, a retired Air Canada pilot, and later refurbished, with a repaint in pale green completed in 2019. The car is powered by a 4.9-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and is outfitted with Red Connolly Vaumol leather upholstery, body-color 15” steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, rear passenger picnic tables, and a Panasonic cassette stereo. This S1 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner’s estate in Canada as part of the Roger Hadfield Collection with Ontario registration. This example was repainted in-house by the Hadfields in 2019 in a pale green color the seller describes as pistachio. Exterior details include red pinstripes, painted monograms on the rear doors, front fender-mounted side mirrors, a bright grille, a British-style number plate, Lucas fog lamps, and a Winged-B ornament.
Description as published on the original listing. Sesame Cars does not verify seller claims.
