Vehicle Description 1957 Chevrolet 3100 $74,000 Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present 1957 Chevrolet 3100. Few trucks capture the character of classic American motoring quite like a 1957 Chevrolet 3100, and this beautifully finished restomod takes that familiar vintage shape and combines it with a selection of modern upgrades designed to make the truck more enjoyable to drive. Finished in a distinctive teal exterior, this 3100 carries the classic lines that made Chevrolet pickups of the 1950s so recognizable. Inside, the truck features tan vinyl seating complemented by black carpeting, creating a clean contrast with the exterior. A digital dash brings modern instrumentation into the vintage-inspired cabin, while power windows add another touch of convenience. Under the hood is a 5.3L LSX V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck also features 2010 Crown Victoria front running gear, along with power steering and power brakes. New shocks, a new steering column, an electric parking brake, and electric wipers add further updates to the driving experience while retaining the unmistakable appearance of the classic Chevrolet pickup. Comfort and entertainment have also been considered throughout the build. Vintage-style air conditioning helps keep the cabin comfortable, while the truck's vintage AM/FM radio has been complemented by CD and Bluetooth capability, giving you the option of enjoying modern audio while still maintaining the period-inspired feel of the interior. Out back, the wooden bed keeps an important piece of classic pickup character intact. It is the kind of detail that reminds you where this truck started, even with the modern mechanical upgrades underneath. The combination of the classic body, wooden bed, V8 power, and updated running gear gives this 3100 a distinctly restomod personality without losing sight of its Chevrolet heritage. The 1957 Chevrolet 3100 has long been one of the most recognizable classic American pickups, and this example offers a different way to enjoy that heritage. With its teal exterior, tan vinyl interior, 5.3L V8, automatic transmission, modernized chassis components, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and updated convenience features, this truck brings together the visual appeal of the 1950s with a selection of upgrades suited for modern cruising. 1957 Chevrolet 3100 is listed by our Houston Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
