1957 Chevrolet 3100 Custom Pickup

This custom 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Big-Window pickup is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V-8 engine paired with an 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine features a Texas Speed Stage 2 high-lift camshaft and a polished billet Gen V LT4 serpentine conversion system. The engine compartment features custom-fabricated inner fender panels that conceal the air-conditioning lines, a smoothed firewall and polished billet accessories. The chassis features a fully adjustable, self-leveling air-ride suspension system with Mustang II-style independent front suspension and a custom four-link rear suspension. A narrowed 10-bolt rear differential with 4.10 Positraction gears accommodates the oversized rear wheels beneath the body. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with a hydro-boost brake system. The exterior is finished in PPG Jet Black with five coats of clearcoat that were wet-sanded and buffed. The frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration included more than 1,500 hours of paint preparation, sandblasting and metalwork, with factory body seams welded and smoothed. The custom wood bed features a Black Cherry and black finish with polished bed strips and concealed fasteners. Additional exterior features include Eddie Motorsports billet hood hinges, concealed tailgate latches, a one-piece side-window conversion and a 20-gallon fuel cell relocated to the rear of the frame. It rides on staggered Alcatraz 20x8.5 front and 20x12 rear wheels with brushed finishes and diamond-cut lips, wrapped in Lexani tires. The custom interior features two-tone Black Cherry and black diamond-stitched leather seating with a matching wrapped steering wheel. Equipment includes Dakota Digital instruments, push-button start, keyless entry, remote start, power windows, power door locks, electric door poppers and Vintage Air climate control. A custom center console houses a 10-inch display with Apple CarPlay connectivity. The audio system features two 10-inch Kicker subwoofers and a matching amplifier. The restoration was completed over two years. Approximately 472 test miles.
