1957 Chevrolet Task Force 3800

DescriptionThis 1957 Chevrolet Task Force 3800 Tow Truck has a beautiful orange/red finish with a gray vinyl interior. This truck is a gorgeous frame-off restoration from a sizeable truck collection. The paint scheme with the door graphics grabs attention along with its tow mount and black tow truck bed. Riding high on 19.5-inch steel wheels wrapped in 8-19.5 Goodyear rubber, this workhorse means business. The towing apparatus, operated by a dash switch, and rear levers, adds serious functionality. Dual mirrors, white-painted grille, bumper, and black running boards complete the no-nonsense exterior. Powering this hauler is a 283 CID V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine bay showcases a 2-bbl carburetor, direct-drive fan, and cooling shroud. The solid rear axle with leaf springs and front I-beam suspension maintain the truck's rugged character and towing capabilities. Inside, the gray vinyl bench seat and black rubber floor mat set the tone of a work truck. The dash retains its vintage look all the way down to the AM radio. The original steering wheel pairs with a modern switch for the overhead lights. This Chevy is always ready to start and drive.
