These cars literally glitter with the Hi-Cantered rear fenders fins and King Size Jet Tube tail Lights How the top works: It was the sort of technical wonder Americans expected as the "space age" beckoned in the 50’s. At the touch of a button three roof drive motors drive four lift jacks, four door-lock motors, ten solenoids, four locking mechanisms opens the rear deck lid, folds the front of the roof under the center portion and retracts it under the extended rear decklid and then closes it out of sight. It’s a complex mechanism which has wonderful reliability. It is a surefire to always amaze and please the crowd. Fuel consumption for these great cars is not bad, about town is 16 to 18 mpg. Interestingly, the fuel tank is actually under the rear seat and adds to safety in the event of a rear collision. Only 20,766 units were made. $55,900 Read More
