Description
This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL was sold new by Waco Motors of Miami in December 1956, and it was registered with one owner in Florida until his passing in 1997. The car was then placed in storage until the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2018, and it has since remained decommissioned, although it retains its 1.9-liter inline-four, four-speed manual transmission, running gear, lighting, and an intact interior. This non-running 190SL project shows 79k miles, and it is offered with a 1956 invoice and title, owner’s manuals, historical photos and registrations, correspondence, removed Solex carburetors, additional components, and a clean Florida title. The car was finished at the factory in light blue (334), and it has a white soft top, fender-mounted mirrors, and reflectors below the rear bumper, which were phased out on later examples. Damage on the left corner of the front bumper is noted, and the lock is drilled out of the trunk lid.
Description as published on the original listing. Sesame Cars does not verify seller claims.
