- The 57 hp PowerMaster engine run perfect, starts great, new carb, new exhaust manifold with upright stack. Needs nothing. I would think the tractor has had some work in its life . I dont have maint log but the hour meter says 1339. I think the tack was replaced at 1800-2000 hours according to the numbers written under the hood. With both added together its still under 4000 hours of use. Much of the use would be for loader work many of that would be snow in northern Wi.

Description
You are looking at a low hour 801 Ford with loader with snow bucket and claw bucket. Ez on and off bracket on loaders. two pins and switch buckets. Tractor tach says 1338 hours. Tractor has great maint its entire life with same farmer up until 2 years ago. It has been kept inside and mostly used for snow and minor odd jobs on his property in northern Wi. Tractor has 3 point and pto, new battery and power steering. A must for any loader tractor. Tractor has 12- 50lb weights on each rear rim/tire. A set of tire chains will come with tractor as well. The block casting number 310609 indicates 1958 Ford 801 series tractor has a 172 cubic inch (2.8L) 4-cylinder engine. This specific casting number was used by Ford during the 1958–1959 production run for their larger "Powermaster" tractor engines Quick Engine SpecsDisplacement: 172 cubic inches (2.8 Liters) Cylinder Count: 4-cylinder overhead valve.Power Output: Approximately 45–50 PTO horsepower.Fuel Type: This exact block casting was used for Gasoline, LP Gas, and Diesel configurations. The external block looks identical, but internal machining and fuel systems differed based on the fuel type. I have both manuals with this tractor. Tractor does have a rebuilt generator and starter with new 6 volt hd battery and cables. All four loader cylinders have been replaced as well. Fresh oils change and grease job. Tractor is a great running straight old piece. Would look at bigger loader tractor on trade.
