1958 Ford Fairlane 500

DescriptionThis 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner hardtop convertible, finished in striking Bali Bronze with a Beige Sof-Textured Vinyl and brown block-patterned fabric interior, is a true standout from the golden age of American motoring. Owned by the same family since new, it received a careful restoration in the mid-1990s that brought it to the impressive condition you see today. According to the data tag, it rolled out of the Dearborn assembly plant, and it has been lovingly maintained ever since. The paint retains a good luster, while the chrome, brightwork, and stainless trim remain vibrant and clean, with no major imperfections to distract from its presentation. The power top raises and lowers smoothly with a switch. Power comes from a smooth-running 332 CID V8, paired with a 3-speed manual transmission equipped with overdrive for relaxed cruising. Inside, the spacious cabin features its original dashboard layout, plush seating for six, and carpets, door panels, and a headliner that look like new. Even the factory radio has been thoughtfully updated to play FM and a 6-disc CD changer. This Skyliner represents one of the most distinctive and eye-catching designs of the 1950s, offering a rare opportunity to enjoy a classic that turns every drive into an occasion.
