Description
This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible Resto-Mod is powered by a 495hp GM Performance Hot Cam Gen V LT crate engine paired with a built 4L60 automatic transmission. Built by Burning River Resto-Mods of Berea, Ohio, the Corvette rides on a powder-coated Art Morrison GT chassis with independent rear suspension and adjustable coilovers at all four corners. The underside is finished with Raptor protective coating. Braking is handled by GM Corvette calipers with cross-drilled rotors. The body features a smoothed and extended firewall, tightened exterior panel gaps, modified floors providing 4 inches of additional legroom and a Dakota Digital electronically actuated hood. It is finished in custom-mixed Gray Metallic with contrasting silver coves and features stainless-steel and chrome components that were replaced or professionally polished, along with custom Curtis Speed wheels. The interior features hand-stitched leather seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard, matching door panels and a custom center console. Equipment includes a double-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital instrumentation and a Stayfast convertible top. The interior floors were treated with LizardSkin ceramic insulation.
