1960 Volvo PV544 4-Speed Project

This 1960 Volvo PV544 project was refurbished by the seller’s grandfather using components from another donor car between 2004 and 2005, and it is finished in metallic red over red and black upholstery. The car is equipped with a retrofitted B18 1.8-liter inline-four linked with a four-speed manual transmission, and further details include 15″ perforated steel wheels, a bright grille, vent windows, mudflaps, rubber floor coverings, and front bucket seats. The engine turns over but does not currently run. This PV544 project is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of their grandfather with an instruction booklet, a service manual, refurbishment photos, and a Kentucky title in the owner’s name. The body was stripped to bare metal before it was refinished in the current shade of metallic red during the refurbishment. Exterior details include a bright grille, front vent windows, bright bumpers, and mudflaps. Noted flaws include paint chips and touch-ups above the grille, a missing trim piece on the left side, and pitting on some of the trim.
