1961 Chevrolet C10 Custom Pickup

This 1961 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a new 5.3-liter LS V8 engine equipped with an LS6 intake and injectors, Holley fuel rails, Speed Engineering headers, a CVF Racing front runner, Billet Specialties valve covers and breathers, Holley Swamp oil pan kit, K&N air filter, NGK TR6 spark plugs and a 160-degree thermostat. The engine is paired with a rebuilt 4L60 automatic transmission with a Lokar floor shifter. Cooling is provided by a four-row radiator with a Champion electric fan, while exhaust exits through a custom 2.5-inch stainless-steel system with an X-pipe and Black Widow mufflers. Built on a custom powder-coated chassis, this pickup features Mustang II power steering, Chopping Block front and transmission crossmembers, CPP 2.5-inch drop spindles, CPP shocks and an adjustable air suspension system utilizing Slam Specialties SS7 air bags, an AccuAir VT tank and E+ management. The rear suspension incorporates trailing arms with custom air bag mounts and a custom 14-inch step notch. Additional chassis upgrades include Hart Fab front and rear wheel tubs, CPP disc brakes with a Baer master cylinder and a GM 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears and shortened Moser axles. A custom aluminum 21-gallon fuel tank is mounted beneath the one-off wood bed floor. The interior features custom upholstery with Relicate Gray plaid inserts, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital RTX gauges and a Bluetooth stereo system with an amplifier and a custom speaker enclosure behind the seat housing two 8-inch subwoofers and four 6-inch speakers. Sound-deadening material has been installed throughout the cabin. Additional custom details include a smoothed firewall, custom brake lines, PSI wiring harness, black stainless-steel braided lines with AN fittings, LMC door handles and taillights, and custom Switch Suspension hood hinges. The exterior features a ceramic coating, while the underside is protected with Line-X coating. The pickup rides on 22-inch powder-coated wheels wrapped in Diamond Back Classic whitewall tires. Built for modern drivability and show presentation, this custom C10 participated in the 2023 Hot Rod Power Tour.
