1961 Chevrolet Corvette Base

Beautiful 1961 Chevrolet Corvette, finished in Roman Red with white coves, featuring its original red interior in excellent condition and a replacement white convertible top.

This desirable 283 cubic-inch, 315 HP fuel-injected Corvette is equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission. I am the third owner and have owned the car for approximately 10 years. The exterior is believed to have been repainted by a previous owner.

For improved reliability, starting, and drivability, the original Rochester mechanical fuel injection was replaced with a modern Holley Stealth EFI system. The original Rochester fuel injection components are included with the sale.

The original 4.11:1 rear axle ratio was changed to 3.50:1 for improved highway cruising, reduced engine RPM, and more comfortable operation in hot weather. The original 4.11 rear axle is also included.
