Original Owner has Certified its originality and Mileage, we will do the same! Beautiful and in Bristol Condition. A must See The third generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a personal luxury car produced by Ford for the 1961 to 1963 model years. It featured new and much sleeker styling than the second generation models. Sales were strong, if not quite up to record-breaking 1960, at 73,051 including only 10,516 convertibles. A new, larger 390 cu in (6.4 L) FE-series V8 was the only engine available (in 1961). The Thunderbird was 1961's Indianapolis 500 pace car, and featured prominently in US President John F. Kennedy's inaugural parade, probably aided by the appointment of Ford executive Robert McNamara as Secretary of Defense. Our vehicle is just stunning with beautiful lines and pristine chrome from front to rear bumper and the trim on top of angular fenders front to rear also clean and beautiful. Corinthian white exterior complimented by Beige leather, all in excellent condition, in harmony with matching rugs shout CLASSIC BEAUTY and only 15k original miles. Premium features include AM radio, power steering, power brakes and floating reverse mirror, the first ever but standard on all cars now, and with the innovative and highly touted "SWING AWAY" steering wheel that swings away 18" to the right so driver can exit easier. CLASSIC BEAUTY mixed with innovation of the time makes this low low mileage original vehicle UNIQUELY OUTSTANDING. A true gem impossible to duplicate could be yours.
