Finished in a striking metallic blue, the body retains the Bel Air's unmistakable long, low profile, quad headlights, sweeping side trim, wraparound glass, and four round taillights. The brightwork provides the right amount of contrast against the blue finish, while the dramatically lowered stance and polished staggered wheels immediately reveal that this is anything but a stock restoration. The end result is exceptionally clean: classic Chevrolet design from a distance, with the stance, drivability, and detailing expected from a contemporary pro-touring build. LS3 V8 Power Under the hood sits a modern Chevrolet LS3 V8, giving this Bel Air the type of power, reliability, cold-start behavior, and parts availability that make an LS-powered restomod so enjoyable to own. The installation has been executed with a clean presentation, retaining the Corvette-style LS3 engine covers while incorporating a modern serpentine accessory drive, air-conditioning compressor, polished accessories, a large aluminum radiator, and upgraded cooling hardware. Power is routed through a modern automatic transmission, making this Bel Air equally suited to cruising through town, traveling at highway speeds, or simply enjoying as a turn-key weekend car. This is exactly the sort of powertrain combination that makes a large early-'60s Chevrolet substantially more usable without sacrificing the personality of the original platform. Modernized Chassis & Braking The chassis has been upgraded well beyond original 1962 specifications. Up front, the photographs show a custom tubular suspension system with performance coil springs, dramatically improving both geometry and road manners compared with the original factory hardware. Stopping performance is equally serious. Large Wilwood disc brakes are visible behind the polished wheels, supported by a modern power brake system. Combined with the performance-oriented suspension and low-profile tires, the chassis has been built to complement the LS3 rather than simply accommodate it. This is an important distinction in a restomod: the engine, brakes, suspension, wheels, and tires function as a complete package. Staggered Pro-Touring Stance One of the strongest visual elements of this Bel Air is its stance. Polished multi-spoke wheels fill the wheel openings beautifully without overwhelming the original body lines. Tire sizing shown in the photographs is: 245/40ZR19 front 275/40ZR20 rear The staggered 19-/20-inch combination gives the car a planted, modern profile while the polished finish works naturally with the abundant factory-style chrome trim. Viewed from any angle, the proportions are excellent-low, wide, and aggressive without losing the elegance of the original Bel Air design. Fully Custom Saddle Leather Interior The interior is where this build moves beyond the typical LS-swapped classic. Virtually the entire passenger compartment has been reimagined in a rich saddle/tan leather treatment, including the dashboard, door panels, seating, console, rear compartment, and numerous trim surfaces. Supportive front bucket seats replace the original bench arrangement and are divided by a full-length custom center console incorporating stainless cupholders and a Pioneer touchscreen multimedia system. The dash itself has been extensively customized while retaining a period-inspired horizontal architecture. Modern instrumentation combines a wide digital speedometer display with individual auxiliary gauges for engine temperature, tachometer, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. A custom leather-wrapped steering wheel, integrated A/C outlets, power accessories, ambient interior lighting, and carefully coordinated bright trim create a cabin that feels purpose-built rather than assembled from an aftermarket catalog. Custom Rear Seating & Audio The rear compartment received the same level of attention as the front. Custom-contoured saddle leather seating surrounds an integrated center section with additional stainless cupholders and a carefully incorporated speaker grille. Matching sculpted side panels and trim create a cohesive appearance throughout the cabin. Rather than retaining the appearance of a 60-plus-year-old interior with a few modern accessories added, the entire environment has been designed as one complete package. Fully Finished Trunk Even the trunk has been incorporated into the build. The luggage compartment is fully trimmed in complementary saddle upholstery and textured carpeting, with custom side panels, bright trim accents, and integrated audio components. A hinged false floor opens to reveal a concealed storage area beneath, keeping the visible trunk clean and finished. Details like this are ofte
