1962 Chevrolet Corvette 6-Speed

This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette was acquired by the current owner in 2016, and it was refurbished and modified under prior ownership by Vintage Fabrication of Independence, Missouri. Power comes from a supercharged 6.0-liter LS2 V8 backed by a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. The body is finished in metallic beige and fitted over an SRIII Motorsports tubular chassis. Additional details include C4-specification suspension components, staggered-diameter Rocket Racing wheels, a body-color removable hardtop, and shaved door handles. The interior houses a modified dashboard with Classic Instruments gauges as well as beige upholstery and a custom center console and audio system. This modified C1 is now offered on dealer consignment with a binder of build records and a clean California title in the name of the owner’s LLC. The revised bodywork features shaved doors with electric poppers along with a filled cowl vent, and the windshield wipers have been removed. The removable hardtop is finished in metallic beige to match the body. A blemish on the right front fender is depicted in the gallery below, and the seller notes paint discoloration on the deck lid from contact with the hard top’s rubber weatherstripping.
