Description
This custom 1962 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Sport Coupe is powered by a small-block 388ci V-8 engine paired with a 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The engine features a polished and balanced Scat crankshaft, CP-Carrillo forged pistons, lightweight connecting rods, ProHeader aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Performer Series carburetor and custom long-tube headers. Hackenberg Engines flowed the cylinder heads, balanced the engine and performed a computer simulation estimating output at 525hp at the crank. Time slips included with the vehicle show a best pass of 13.1 seconds at 106 mph. The chassis has been upgraded with a Total Cost Involved (TCI) tubular front clip featuring rack-and-pinion steering and double-wishbone suspension, a Ford 9-inch differential, a TCI four-link rear suspension and a mini-tub kit. The car is equipped with a pillarless hardtop roofline, new glass and rides on 15-inch Halibrand wheels. The exterior is finished in blue, while the interior is trimmed in gray cloth and includes a Vintage Air system. The sale includes documentation, receipts, invoices and a custom car cover.
