1962 Ford F-350

DescriptionCool Classic Rides LLC. Oregon dealer #8690 is pleased to offer for sale this very well preserved high desert classic one ton flat bed for sale. This truck was purchased new right here in town from the Ford dealership in 1962. It was purchased for farm and ranch use exclusively and only driven around the ranch for until the mid 70s when retirement and the sale of the ranch put it in storage. When it was recently purchased from the elder daughter of the original owner she stated the miles are actual as it was hardly ever driven on the road. She also said her dad bought the truck but wanted a green one so he bought the ford green paint and painted it himself in the barn the green color he wanted. Now after all these years it has a very unique patina that looks great. The hood was replaced after something fell across the hood. The emblems are all new or replaced and the grill is still in very good condition. Very minimal rust one small area in the passenger door and one small rust hole in the left front fender (see the pictures). The bed is in good condition with a nice headache rack and stake pockets. After it was purchased the heads were pulled off and the mechanic found and replaced some of the valves and push rods that were in need of replacement due to having old fuel in the system. New are the factory correct bias ply tires, dual exhaust stacked, headers, holly carburetor, battery, generator, and several other items of natural wear. The brake master cylinder was rebuilt and the brakes all work well. Also a complete tune up including flushing the entire cooling system and all fluids changed along with a lube job. The 292 V-8 and 4 speed transmission perform superbly and this classic runs and drives like new and tracks straight down the road with ease. The A/M radio even still works but needs the speaker replaced. All the glass is in good condition with no cracks or fading issues like most old vehicles get. We have found no motor or fluid leaks. All the lights and turn signals work well.
