1964 Pontiac Tempest Base

This vehicle has only had 2 owners. I understand this vehicle was originally purchased in San Francisco, CA and primarily driven around town by original owner in the City of Fresno, CA. Current owner purchased this vehicle from mutual friend in approximately 2020 and lightly driven around town in the City of Livermore, CA. The original owner repainted the car, restored all of the interior including seats, flooring, headliner, door panels and dashboard. Aftermarket street wheels and lightly used newer tires. Still has original steering wheel, column shifter, gauges including gas and speedometer/ odometer that work, (temperature, battery and oil pressure gauges don’t work). 35,000 original miles on vehicle.

Car starts up with pedal pumping and runs well if allowed to warm up with choke. Many parts replaced by original owner in the engine bay including radiator, alternator, water pump, master brake cylinder, hoses, single barrel carburetor rebuilt, distributor, gas tank, needs new muffler however makes it rumble more. This car definitely gets looks, probably because close resemblance to the GTO to average lookers.
