1964 Volkswagen Kombi

Vehicle Description 1964 Volkswagen Kombi $46,964 This 1964 Volkswagen Kombi 23-Window Bus is a beautifully restored example of one of the most iconic and collectible vehicles of the 1960s. With its unmistakable silhouette, expansive glass, and sliding ragtop, this Samba-style bus captures the spirit of classic Volkswagen motoring while offering modern drivability improvements that make it a genuine pleasure to own and enjoy. Finished in a striking turquoise exterior, the bus presents exceptionally well with a high-quality restoration that respects its original character while delivering a clean, refined appearance. The white and turquoise interior complements the exterior perfectly, creating a bright, welcoming cabin that feels both period-correct and thoughtfully refreshed. Power comes from a reliable 1600cc 4-cylinder engine paired with a 12-volt electrical system for improved usability and dependability. Notably, this bus is equipped without reduction boxes, allowing it to comfortably maintain highway speeds without strain an important upgrade that significantly enhances real-world drivability compared to many stock examples. The sliding ragtop adds to the open-air experience, making this Kombi ideal for cruising, shows, or relaxed weekend drives. It starts easily, runs smoothly, and drives exactly as it should, reflecting the quality of the restoration work throughout. Tasteful flower decals currently adorn the exterior, giving the bus a fun, nostalgic vibe. These can be easily removed if a cleaner look is preferred, or left in place if you enjoy the classic, free spirited aesthetic.
