Description
Part of the second-generation of General Motors' “C/K” truck lineup, the 1965 Chevrolet C10 was part of a series that helped redefine what a pickup could be by combining work-truck capability with passenger-car comfort. One of the most interesting features was its independent front suspension with coil springs, which gave the C10 a smoother ride and better handling than many competing trucks of the era.
Buyers could choose from economical six-cylinder engines or classic V8 power, with a variety of comfort options available. With its durable utility-oriented construction and car-like driving manners, the second-generation C10 became one of Chevrolet’s most influential pickups and remains an important part of the process that gave consumers the trucks of today.
This 1965 Chevrolet C10 is finished in dark red with a white bucket seat interior. It is sitting on 20" Moto Metal chrome wheels, and is equipped with dual exhaust. Inside, it features a cupholder center console, AutoMeter instrumentation, a tilt steering column, and a cassette radio with Sony speakers. Under the hood sits a 383ci small-block V8 fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The bed has a wooden floor, a custom wooden accent panel, and a spare tire with a matching cover.
