1965 Chevrolet Chevy II

1965 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Super Sport Restomod LS1 V8 6-Spd Manual & AC! This 1965 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Super Sport Resto-Mod blends vintage muscle car attitude with modern performance and comfort, resulting in a stunning, well-engineered cruiser that turns heads and performs as impressively as it looks. Built around an original 117 VIN, which confirms its authentic Super Sport trim pedigree, this Nova has been transformed into a street machine that honors its roots while stepping firmly into the modern age. Finished in a clean, bright Ermine White exterior, this Nova sports a straight body with smooth panel fitment and crisp body lines that accentuate its compact, muscular stance. A custom metal cowl hood featuring a functional 2014 Camaro SLP heat exchanger insert adds a touch of aggression and serves as a nod to the serious performance hiding beneath the surface. Completing the look are a set of classic-style Hurst wheels, dual chrome mirrors, and tasteful brightwork that gives the car a refined presence. Powering this Nova is an aluminum LS1 5.7L V8 EFI engine—an iconic modern small block that delivers both horsepower and reliability. It's dressed with a Camaro SS engine beauty cover for a clean presentation and is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission with a firm hydraulic clutch that gives the driver full control of its potent powerband. The car sounds fantastic and performs even better, with quick throttle response and effortless acceleration, making it ideal for spirited driving or weekend cruising. Underneath, the upgrades continue with a TCI front end paired with rack and pinion power steering, Ridetech coil-over shocks, and a TCI 4-link rear suspension setup. A 10-bolt rear with a highway-friendly 3.25 gear ratio ensures strong off-the-line torque with comfortable cruising ability. Bringing everything to a confident stop are Wilwood power disc brakes at all four corners, delivering exceptional braking performance. Inside, the car features a full interior transformation that incorporates 5th Generation Camaro black leather power bucket seats, a matching leather rear seat, a Camaro center console, and a custom leather-padded dash pad. The cabin is further refined with custom gauges and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/AUX stereo system, making for a driving environment that is both sporty and comfortable. Air conditioning has been added via a Vintage Air system, keeping things cool no matter the temperature outside. The attention to detail extends to the trunk as well, where the battery has been relocated and is equipped with a master cutoff switch for convenience and safety. This is not just another Nova with an engine swap—this is a thoughtfully constructed, high-quality Resto-Mod built with care, precision, and a clear goal of blending the best of classic styling with modern drivability. With its factory Super Sport heritage, strong LS1 powertrain, 6-speed manual, upgraded suspension and brakes, and stunning presentation, this 1965 Chevy II Nova SS Resto-Mod is an absolute standout. Whether you're a collector, a performance enthusiast, or someone seeking a unique classic to enjoy and show, this Nova delivers it all.
