Description
This 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 two-door hardtop was purchased by the seller in 2010, and subsequent refurbishment work involved the installation of a rebuilt 440ci V8 and an A833 four-speed manual transmission. The engine works in conjunction with a roller camshaft, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, an auxiliary electric cooling fan, tubular headers, and a dual exhaust system. The body has been fitted with fiberglass front fenders and repainted in white, and the scooped hood is finished in black. Other equipment includes a scatterproof bellhousing, a Sure Grip differential, frame connectors, Cal-Tracs traction bars, 15″ steel wheels, hubcaps, a dual brake master cylinder, and power steering as well as gray cloth upholstery, a center console, a Hurst shifter, and a tachometer. This modified Coronet is now offered in Texas with an owner’s manual, a service manual, and a North Dakota title in the seller’s name. Finished from the factory in Gold metallic (AA1), the car was stripped and repainted in white following the installation of fiberglass front fenders circa 2020. The black hood has a wide air scoop. Exterior equipment includes quad headlights, dual side mirrors, bright trim, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers. A later-style Dodge emblem is affixed to the trunk lid.
