To Bob Leflufy and Jerry Benzinger for $125,000 and sold it for $135,000.1999, 17 Jan., as per conversation with Bob LeFlufy, this car is still with Weinstein, undergoing a restoration. He can buy the car for $135,000 U.S.D.1999, 27 July, faxed Bob and asked if he could provide more info.1999, 28 July, as per Le Flufy he sold the car to a Neurosurgeon, in Connecticut.2000, 11 Jan., as per all from the good Doctor, he found me through an internet search. He wants to sell his 275 GTB s/n 6721. The car was restored mechanically by the last owners mechanic. The last owner was Dr. Weinstein in West Virginia. Today the car is in a restoration shop in Connecticut. Engine and trans were rebuilt several years ago, bodywork is done. They were converting it from a short nose to a long nose. Has a long nose on it that they bought out of Italy. Still has the undamaged original short nose panels, cut off at the wheel wells, with the car. Car is painted in fly yellow. Needs interior leather, carpet and headliner done and installed. Has 5 Borrani wire wheels, very good but not new. There is a lease and he owes $130,000. Pay it off and you own the car.2000, 11 Jan, spoke with restoration shop owner. They were putting a long nose on the car. The car is steel. The new nose is steel. The Doctor also has an aluminum NART spyder body he bought out of Italy but that is a separate issue. Mechanically the car is very good. All mechanicals were rebuilt but Jerry isnt sure who did the work. Has a new wiring harness, all new suspension bushings, new Koni shocks, the frame is painted. All suspension fittings have the red paint dots showing they were checked and marked as per the factory. All floor pans are very good. Under the hood is concours. Paint is a quick and dirty paint job that has to be redone. Apparently the car has a new alloy hood skin and new alloy door panels. All work was done properly. The interior has seat frames, a dash, gauges, all the handles, dash slides, etcetera seems to be complete. All the glass is with the car. Probably all new. Has all new rubber for the car. The gas tank is polished and installed. It runs and drives, but the glass, interior and seats are not in the car. Has a full new ANSA exhaust and all new hangers. Borranis, tires and Knockoffs are all new! All bumpers, fresh air slides, etc are all rechromed. All the restoration shop did was cut off the short nose, fit the long nose and then stop. The car must be painted.2000, 18 Jan., as per email from the good Doctor, if your client would like the original short nose reattached, I will have the shop do it at my expense. Also, I have complete new front rear clips in aluminum alloy made by Scaglietti for a NART spyder.
