1965 Ford Mustang Coupe 289

This 1965 Ford Mustang was built as a Dynasty Green 289 coupe, and it was modified and refurbished by a previous owner. The car was repainted red and fitted with 15″ Torq Thrust alloys along with power-assisted front discs, and the C-code 289ci V8 was rebuilt to displace ~304ci and fitted with a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor and matching intake manifold. The transmission was also replaced, and the car is further equipped with power steering, rocker moldings, a Monte Carlo bar, a dual exhaust system, and rear helper springs. It was acquired on BaT in May 2021 by the seller, who has since driven it ~3,800 miles. Work over the last five years included rebuilding the transmission and replacing the starter. This Mustang is now offered with service records, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. Finished from the factory in Dynasty Green (D), the car was repainted red during previous ownership. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, aftermarket headlights, dual mirrors, and bright lower body rocker moldings.
