1965 Ford Thunderbird One-of-a-Kind Custom Build

Vehicle Description 1965 Ford Thunderbird This 1965 Ford Thunderbird is a truly one-of-a-kind custom build, blending classic Thunderbird luxury with extensive period-inspired modifications and a look you won’t find on another car. The Thunderbird has been with the same owner for 28 years and has been garage kept. Under the hood is the legendary 390 V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt approximately 10 years ago and has accumulated very few miles since. The car was also recently serviced and is ready to be enjoyed. What really separates this Thunderbird from the crowd is the custom bodywork. The roof has been chopped approximately 4.5 inches, dramatically lowering the profile and giving the car an unmistakable custom stance. It features 1959 Pontiac Bonneville taillights, a modified rear bumper, custom grille, air-scoop hood, dummy spotlights, lake-style side pipes, wire wheels, wide whitewall tires, and custom paint completed approximately 10 years ago. Inside, the Thunderbird continues the custom theme with a white vinyl interior, bucket seats, and Ford’s distinctive Swing-Away steering column. The car also carries unique “465T” insignia and “Experimental ’65 Thunderbird” identification, adding another unusual detail to an already remarkable custom Thunderbird.
