1965 Ford Thunderbird Special Landau Coupe

This 1965 Ford Thunderbird Landau coupe is one of 4,500 Special Landau examples produced for the 1965 model year. It is finished in Emberglo with a Parchment vinyl-covered Landau hardtop roof over Parchment vinyl interior upholstery with Emberglo appointments. Powered by a 390ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission, the car is equipped with wheel covers, whitewall tires, a swing-away steering wheel, power windows, power locks, a center console, front bucket seats, a curved rear bench seat, woodgrain interior trim, air conditioning, and an AM radio. This Flair Bird was acquired by the selling dealer in September 2026 and is now offered in Nevada with an Idaho title. The Special Landau edition included a Parchment vinyl Landau top accented with chrome S bars and Special Landau badging. This example is finished in Emberglo (V), and additional features include a wrap-around chrome-finished front bumper, quad headlights, gun-sight front turn-signal monitors, dual side mirrors, rear fender skirts, sequential rear turn signals, and a chrome pinched-loop-style rear bumper.
