This car runs, drives, looks, and sounds like a Can-Am racing car should! It is exciting just to listen to when the engine starts. This car has been accepted to run in Vintage and SCCA tracks all over the country. If you want a serious race car, ready for the track, and plenty of fascinating history, this is it! We have collected a very large amount of data on the history of this car and its previous owners. Dick Brink Texas Motor Works www.texasmotorworks7.com 817-461-7431 We are very fortunate to have a large file of information about this car. We first learned about this McLaren when we first purchased it in 1995 and sold it to Charlie Barns of Dallas. He raced the car for a number of years and then retired from racing in 2010. Charlie passed away recently and we purchased the car from his family. We are very blessed to have the car as Charlie was not only a very good friend but a man with a lot of exciting race history, including locations all over the world. I was personally on the track with him while he was driving the car numerous times; he was not only a gentleman, but a highly-skilled, and successful, driver. My company has given a large amount of passion and love for this car. Despite the nice condition it was given to us in, we decided to freshen it up from one end to the other.
