Description
This 1965 Mercury Park Lane two-door Fastback hardtop is powered by a 390ci Marauder Super V8 that has been equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, a Summit Racing carburetor, PerTronix ignition, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Shifting is through a Hughes Performance C6 three-speed automatic transmission, and the car has front disc brakes, Cragar steel wheels, power steering, and a custom dual exhaust system with Thrush mufflers. Primer covers the bodywork, the roof has been redone in gray, and the cabin has been outfitted with Thunderbird-sourced front bucket seats, a fabricated center console, power windows, push-button ignition, and a sound system with a Pioneer head unit, subwoofers, and amplifiers. Acquired by the seller in 2014, this Park Lane is now offered in Missouri at no reserve with an Arizona title in the seller’s name. The two-door fastback bodywork is finished in primer with a gray roof, and the drip rails have been shaved. Blemishes around the back window are shown in the gallery below.
