Offered from The Thoroughbred Motorsports Collection of Dr. Karl Hens, this lot includes a pair of SSI stainless steel heat exchangers in new old stock condition, accompanied by a sport exhaust. These heat exhangers are specific to any carbureted or CIS engine.

SSI heat exchangers are widely regarded as the gold standard in replacement Porsche 911 heat exchangers — constructed from high-grade stainless steel for improved longevity, exceptional durability, and improved performance over the original mild steel units, while maintaining correct period appearance and fitment. These specific heat exchangers are in NOS condition, and were built prior to 2012, at which point the company was sold and production quality decreased. When combined with the included sport exhaust, the pairing also delivers an enhanced exhaust tone. Finding a pair in new old stock condition is increasingly uncommon for the restorer seeking the finest available replacement units.

As with all components from The Thoroughbred Motorsports Collection, inspection is encouraged via the detailed photo gallery or in person at Hagerty Garage + Social Savannah.
