1966 427 Roadster Re-Creation

This 1966 427 roadster re-creation is powered by a 466ci Dart Iron Block V-8 engine with direct fuel injection producing 400hp and 476 lb-ft of torque and a four-speed manual transmission. Built by HDR Racing in Wyoming, it is constructed on an HDR 427 FIA chassis with a fully triangulated space-frame. The chassis is equipped with adjustable GT-1 suspension, QA1 adjustable shocks and side-exit exhaust. Stopping is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Finished in Seal Gray Metallic with black stripes, the body is fitted with FIA-style fender vents, a single roll bar and Halibrand-style wheels. The interior features black bucket seats with racing harnesses, an aluminum dashboard, a floor-mounted shifter and a center console. The car is accompanied by a binder that includes the original build information, ownership history and technical specifications.
