This Pro-Touring custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova is powered by an upgraded professionally built 6.7-liter 408ci stroker LS-based V-8 engine mated to a 4L60E automatic transmission with overdrive. The engine is equipped with performance cylinder heads, forged racing pistons, a performance camshaft, new FIC 58 lb/hr fuel injectors, a custom engine wiring harness and a large aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans. Power is transferred through a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.73:1 Positraction gears and Mark Williams axles. Additional mechanical features include a 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust system and a Rick’s stainless-steel fuel tank. The chassis is equipped with a Chris Alston Chassisworks front clip, a custom three-link rear suspension, Air Ride Technologies air suspension with an electronic controller, QA1 ShockWave adjustable shocks, powder-coated suspension components throughout and power rack-and-pinion steering. Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes provide stopping power. Exterior features include new weatherstripping throughout, new tinted glass including the windshield and custom vintage-style Rally wheels that retain the original SS appearance, measuring 17 inches in front and 18 inches in the rear. The custom leather and suede interior features power driver and passenger seats with adjustable lumbar support. The cabin is insulated with four boxes of Dynamat and is equipped with Vintage Air climate control, power windows, a custom center console, a tilt steering column, AutoMeter gauges and a Pro Ratchet shifter. An upgraded touchscreen sound system includes Bluetooth, XM Radio capability, navigation, a backup camera, a subwoofer and auxiliary input, and charging ports. The trunk is fully finished. This Nova was featured in "Mayans M.C.," Season 1, Episode 2, appearing during the final minute of the episode.
