Description
This custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova underwent a complete two-year rotisserie restoration and is powered by a GM aluminum 5.7-liter LS1 V-8 engine paired with a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The engine features an Eddie Motorsports S-Drive polished serpentine pulley system, while a high-flow large-core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans handles cooling. The Nova rides on a new CRC front subframe with tubular upper and lower control arms, power rack & pinion steering, coilovers with QA1 shocks, Heidts adjustable subframe support tubes and color-matched inner fender panels. The rear features a Total Cost Involved Engineering four-link suspension with coilovers and QA1 shocks, along with a 10-bolt rear end, C-clip eliminator kit and 3.73 gears. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood power disc brakes with red dual-piston calipers, cross-drilled and slotted rotors and stainless-steel brake hoses at all four corners. The body is finished in Cromax GM 615G Greige Metallic/Mineral Gray Metallic paint that was cut and polished to show quality. Much of the original stainless trim was refurbished and polished, and the car received new tinted glass, weatherstripping and window felts. The fully custom leather interior by OZ Upholstery features a one-piece leather headliner, handmade center console with billet cupholders and storage compartment, Mercedes wool carpeting with matching floor mats, Dakota Digital VHX-66C instrumentation, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Lokar throttle pedal assembly and Lokar electronic Sport Mode automatic shifter. Vintage Air climate control features billet dash vents and controls. A Sony Bluetooth stereo is connected to front kick-panel speakers and rear 6x9-inch speakers. The trunk continues the custom interior treatment with leather-wrapped side and rear panels, Mercedes wool carpeting and a rear compartment housing the battery and stereo amplifier. Additional details include billet hood hinges and Schott Performance Vulcan EXL Classic wheels measuring 17x7 inches up front and 18x8 inches at the rear. A binder containing build photos and additional build information is included with the sale. The car has been driven 250 test miles since the build completion.
