1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible L79 327/350 4-Speed

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired in 2011 by the seller who carried out a multi-year refurbishment that included repainting the bodywork in red, powder-coating and internally lining the frame, reupholstering the interior in tan leather, and overhauling the 327ci V8 and four-speed manual transmission. The gauge cluster, clock, and soft top as well as the fuel, braking, and suspension systems were overhauled during the refurbishment. The car has been modified with a Vintage Air air conditioning system, a modern USB-input stereo, headrests, and kick-panel speakers, and additional equipment includes a beige convertible soft top, rear-exit exhaust pipes, a Positraction differential, 15″ steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. This C2 is now offered with service records, spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name. The fiberglass body was hand-sanded, filled with Bondo as needed, and painted using PPG red by the seller, and the frame was powder-coated black and internally lined with POR-15. The beige convertible soft top and frame were replaced and the headlight motors were rebuilt by Eckler’s.
